Spring Cruise 2017
Our 2017 Spring Cruise took place over the week of 27th May to 2nd June, including the bank holiday Monday. Five boats took part:

Sailing Results Now Published
We are now publishing our latest sailing result sheet on the website, and this is updated dynamically as results are released. It includes individual points for specific events, overall standings and trophies won. Take a look at how you are doing this season by clicking here.
May Music Night
On the 25th May we had another fun music night in the club, with plenty of members enjoying the fine entertainment. Read on for a selection of videos and pictures from the night.
May Pursuit Race
The May pursuit race was entered by Free Will, Lindos, Pinch of Thyme, Comrades, Mahalo, Penny Diamond and JDV. The conditions on the day were quite blustery and promised to provide us with a fast race. Unfortunately Lindos had engine problems in the morning and had to retire but the rest of us carried on into the Bay.
April Music Night
There was a good audience for the second music night of the year, which was held at the end of April, so thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the music.

Round Anglesey Cruise
The club’s round Anglesey cruise took place over the May bank holiday weekend this year, and thirteen club boats joined in. About half the fleet headed off to Menai Bridge on Friday and spent the night there, while the other half left Conwy on Saturday morning, navigated the Swatch and went straight through the Swellies on the flood tide.
On the way across, boats on both days were accompanied by a large pod of dolphins which have taken up residence in the bay – take a look at the videos below, taken from Free Will and Pisces, to see a spectacular show, including fully airborne dolphins!
Fitting Out Supper
The Club was packed out last Saturday for the fitting out supper. This was the first time we have used the new caterers for a hot buffet, and it was very successful – there was nothing left at the end, anyway! We also held a prize raffle and for some reason John was especially keen on getting his hands on one particular prize…

First Music Night of 2017
The monthly music nights have kicked off for 2017 – the first took place on Thursday 30th March. The music was great but the musicians deserve a larger audience, so please put the last Thursday of every month into your diary. Here are a couple of pictures and videos from the night, to give you a taster:
Big Quiz Night
On Saturday 25th March the Club held a Big Quiz Night. There were three teams each with four members: “ForTunes”, “Llandudno Mob”, “Pensarn Pests” and one team with three, “Billy no Mates”, hence the name.
2017 Yearbook
The 2017 yearbook has been completed and printed, and copies are now available in the club – please pick up your copy and also feel free to take a couple of extras to hand out to prospective members.
The electronic version has also been published to the website and is available for reading online here.
