Bart’s Bash!
Our Bart’s Bash event will be held on Saturday the 15th of September this year, and the briefing will be on Friday 14th September at 21:00 in the NWCC clubhouse. The race is always well attended and our race has always been one of the top money raisers in the world so lets see if we can keep that up. Local Notice to Mariners 08/2018
All mariners are advised that diving operations will be taking place up the Conwy River, near the Tal y Cafn bridge in position 53° 14.6’N 003° 48.6’W from 31/08/2018 until 10/09/2018. The vessel Jac y Do will be moored on station. Mariners are requested to slow speed when approaching the area and wait for instructions to pass if the alpha flag is on display.

Restricted Launch Hours Next Weekend
The launch will be running on a reduced schedule on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.
Any members wishing to use the launch outside these hours, please contact Keith on 07751 888614 in advance.
Friday
- It will not run over the low water period (approx 1 hr each side) from 1600 – 1800
- It will stop operating at 2000
Saturday
- It will not run over the low water period (approx 1hr each side) from 1700 – 1900
- It will stop operating at 2000
Sunday
- It will stop operating at 1700
Rhyl Notice to Mariners 05/2018
Rhyl Air Show
Access restrictions to and from Rhyl Harbour
All mariners are advised the Rhyl Air Show will be held on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th August 2018. A marine exclusion zone will be in force for the duration of the air show. All vessels must navigate with extreme caution in the vicinity of this area. Police patrol vessels will be enforcing the exclusion zone and all mariners are requested to co-operate and respect the exclusion area. Air displays will be between:
- Saturday 25th 1300hrs – 1730hrs
- Sunday 26th 1300hrs – 1800hrs
Safety remains the top priority and the strict guidelines from the Civil Aviation Authority will be followed to ensure compliance. Part of these guidelines state that the display area for the aircraft must be kept clear of all waterborne traffic for the duration of the displays. All vessels are advised to contact the Harbour office prior to entering or departing Rhyl Harbour during these times.
Caernarfon Notice to Mariners 10/2018
The highest of the fixed marks on the 231º transit below the Britannia Bridge F.W has now been reinstated to the charted characteristic.

The highest of the fixed marks on the 231º transit below the Britannia Bridge F.W has failed and has been temporally replaced with a F.G light.

Local Notice to Mariners 06/2018
All mariners are advised that the UK National Armed Forces Day will be held at Llandudno on Saturday 30 June 2018. A marine exclusion area, as per the appended charts, will be in force for the duration of the air display from 1150 until 1310. Patrol craft with a police and military presence will be enforcing the exclusion area. Mariners are requested to co-operate and respect the exclusion area as any incursions will result in cancellation of the air display. Provision has been made for vessels to anchor inside of a line running between the Pier and Venue Cymru starboard hand mark.

Caernarfon Notice to Mariners 08/2018
On Saturday the 19th and 20th of May Caernarfon Harbour is hosting the Aqua Adrenaline Tour Powerboat racing.
Navigation inside the BLUE area is strictly prohibited during the racing times.
The orange areas will be waiting areas for vessel wishing to navigate through the blue area between races. The red area is reserved for vessels accessing and egressing Doc Fictoria. Authorisation to navigate into the red or blue area must be sought from the Dock Master on VHF Ch.80.
