The General Lighthouse Authorities are planning to shut down the Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) from 31st March 2022. The DGPS service is a land-based enhancement to GPS which was designed to increase the accuracy of the system during the period when an intentional location error was introduced into GPS to make it less accurate. This error was removed in 2000.

Dredging operations are due to commence in Deganwy Marina on the 1st of October 2020. A cancellation notice will be issued upon completion of dredging operations.

Mariners are advised that a significant danger to navigation exists in the area noted below and possible the wider area both Northeast and Southwest given the anchor line may fail at any time. A submerged vessel is believed to still be in position:
