Up River BBQ
We’ve had feedback from several club members now and it looks like the BBQ is the most popular option. Terry W has kindly offered to be the officer of the day and is currently researching suitable dates. I’ll post a firm date shortly.

Fancy a go on Europes longest and highest Zip wire? It has been suggested as a possible event and I thought a small group of us could go and try it together. Let me know if you’re interested and we’ll arrange a date. Three definites so far.
The Bridgewater visit has been cancelled this year as they can’t fit it in with their programme.
I’m looking for alternative things to do and throwing it open to everyone for suggestions. One event that we used to run was the up river BBQ, does that sound like something we would be interested in trying again this year or would you like to do something else?
All comments welcome.
The current position with the membership database on the website is that it is being merged with the Membership Secretarys database so there is just one database. This means that there will be no login facility for the members for the time being. However we are striving to get it up and running as soon as possible.
The current login is for Administrators only.
Well I think i’m getting the hang of this wordress now. Certainly to set up the structure of the site and navigation has been a lot easier than the old Joomla content management system we used to use. I hope you like what you see so far. The events are all in but I will flesh them out more with tide times and sailing times. I’ve done this for the first sailing event and will do the same for the rest.
The next jobs are connecting this to our facebook page, setting up a members database, emailing system, contact form etc
