In 1989 Tracy Edwards led the first all-female crew in the Whitbread Round the World Race, a gruelling yachting competition that covered 33,000 miles and lasted nine months.
The Dyffryn Conwy Paddlers will be hosting an evening and film showing of Maiden, the story of the boat and crew. The evening includes a bring and share buffet at the NWCC Clubhouse on Thursday December 12 at 19:00.
Catering for this event is bring and share. Please let Penny ([email protected]) know what you hope to bring (savoury or sweet) so there is a varied spread.
All DCP and NWCC members and friends and families are welcome.
