DESCRIPTION:\n\nIn 1989 Tracy Edwards led the first all-female crew in t
 he Whitbread Round the World Race\, a gruelling yachting competition t
 hat covered 33\,000 miles and lasted nine months.\n\nThe Dyffryn Conwy P
 addlers will be hosting an evening and film showing of Maiden\, the story 
 of the boat and crew. The evening includes a bring and share buffet at th
 e NWCC Clubhouse on Thursday December 12 at 19:00.\n\nCatering for this e
 vent is bring and share. Please let Penny (dcp@dmxl.co.uk) know what you h
 ope to bring (savoury or sweet) so there is a varied spread.\n\n\n\n\nAll
