Mariners are hereby advised that a temporary yellow special mark has been laid to mark the dredge discharge pipe from Conwy Marina. The mark is situated between the Beacons Jetty and Conwy Quays Marina in position 53°17.585N 003°50.285W
The Yellow mark is lit QFl 6 Sec.

All Mariners please be aware that works will be taking place 21/10/2019 on the construction of a truncated pier where the Victoria Pier once stood and will include the closure of the lower promenade for that period. The length of the truncated pier will extend approx. 600mm beyond the final row of columns that are still in place. The works will be completed during summer 2020.

All mariners please be advised that an aerobatic display will be taking place in Colwyn Bay on 5th October 2019. The display window is between 1500-1800 local time (BST). All vessel are requested not to enter the display area during this period. The display area is marked with a red boundary on the map below. Two guard vessels will be in attendance to the east and west of the display area.

All mariners are advised that Local Notice to Mariners number 10 is hereby cancelled. The vessel “Rocky” has been partially re-floated and towed inside the main harbour pontoon, it is marked with yellow buoys.
A further notice will be issued when the vessel has re-floated and removed later today.

All mariners are advised that the vessel “Rocky” lies sunk between the inner and outer pontoon in the main Harbour channel at Conwy Harbour.
The vessel is marked with an isolated danger mark and the coordinates are :-

003° 49’39.08 W
Mariners are advised not to attempt to transit between the pontoons until this notice is cancelled.
Salvage operations will commence as soon as practicable.
A further notice will be issued when the wreck is removed.
