New Event – Royal Celebration

As we have had to cancel a couple of Club social events earlier this year, we are delighted to announce a new one!

You are invited to a Royal Celebration Dinner, to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday on Saturday 21st April at 19:30 for 20:00

The event will be held in the Chart Room at the Club, the dress code is jacket & tie and the cost per person is £15.  The menu is as follows:

  • Leek & Potato Soup
  • Roast Lamb or Roast Chicken
  • Welsh Apple Cake with Cinnamon Cream or Bread & Butter Pudding with Cream

Sign-ups are limited to 26 places and the closing date is Sunday 15 April.  You can sign up either on the club noticeboard, by emailing [email protected] or by filling in the form on this page.

Conwy River Festival 2018

We are delighted to announce that The Conwy River Festival (CRF) is going ahead again in 2018.  The Festival is taking place over two weekends with the LA-LA Rally being organised by the NWCC.:

  • Saturday 14th July: Racing and Quay Day
  • Sunday 15th July: Racing
  • Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd July: LA-LA Rally

The CRF website has been re-designed and relaunched and contains the full programme of events.  It will be updated regularly with all the latest information. You can also sign up for the CRF newsletter on the site, to keep up with the latest news: conwyriverfestival.org

Please put the CRF in your diary – if it is supported by the local club members, it will continue to be a key event in the Conwy Calendar.

Local Notice to Mariners 02/2018

All mariners are hereby advised that scheduled dredging activities will be taking place at the Conwy Harbour access jetty (opposite the Liverpool Arms) for the next two to three weeks.

The work boat ‘Jac y Do’ will be restricted in her ability during dredging operations and mariners are requested to keep 25m clearance.  Should jetty access be required during operations then the vessel should be contacted on VHF channel 14.  A further notice will be issued when dredging operations are complete.

Please be advised that we have recently severed an electrical cable to the sill gate traffic lights and proximity sensors which has now resulted in them being inoperable.

The Aid to navigation has been temporarily discontinued for the winter.
