The club is running an RYA VHF DSC Course, with assessment, over the weekend of Saturday 16th / Sunday 17th March.
Saturday and Sunday morning will be taken up by lessons and hands-on practice while assessments for the Short Range Certificate will take place early on Sunday afternoon.
The instructor will be Ian Cheek.
The fee for the course is £115, payable to the NWCC. There is also a separate fee of £60 for the Assessment, which is payable directly to the RYA, and the payment details for this will be provided later.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you intend to book a place on the course. To secure your place you will need to pay the course fee of £115 to the NWCC in advance. The fee can be paid by cash or cheque at the Club. Put your payment in a sealed envelope, write on it your name, and the name of the course, and give it to the steward at the bar.
