Jane Parker was the youngest member of Alan Barber’s expedition to Iceland in 1988. They endeavoured to be the first team to kayak the Hvita river from source to sea, abseiling spectacularly down the Gullfoss falls.
The Dyffryn Conwy Paddlers are hosting a talk by Jane about her trip. Come and hear whether it was achieved and see the newly compiled extra-ordinary film footage!
Incorporating a bring and share supper at the NWCC Clubhouse on Thursday February 13 at 19:00.
