DESCRIPTION:\n\nAs the racing season is now on hold due to the guidelines f
 or Covid 19 for a bit of fun we have moved our racing online.\n\nOur races
  are being held on the Virtual Regatta Inshore platform\, with Google Hang
 outs/Meet as the chatting facility while we are racing. We will meet up on
  the chat first at 11:00 and then go onto the race for 11:15. You can eith
 er play on a computer or download the app onto a mobile device.\n\nFull jo
 ining instructions and race tips are on the RYA website here where you wil
 l find information about joining and gameplay tips. As well as being fun\,
  online racing is quite educational as it strictly follows the rules of ra
 cing with all the correct laws being applied and penalties for any offence
 s.  It's a risk free way of learning what can and can't be done.\n\nWe wi
 ll meet up on the chat first at 11:00 and then go onto the race for 11:15.
 \nTo join the races\nOnce you have signed up with Virtual Regatta and comp
 leted the training send a friend request to Free Will - NWCC. Click on the
  Custom Race Button on the 25th of April.\n\nIf a popup window appears wit
 h 'Devenez VIP' in it\, click outside the box to get rid of it.  Then cli
 ck ‘Join’ and enter your access code by pressing the green box at the 
 bottom. The access code has been sent to all Members by email.\n\nI’m lo
 oking forward to seeing you all in the race.  Once a few of us have signe
 d up and friended each other we can have a practice and check how to use t
 he system to decide on a winner.\nCommodore's Cup\nThese races will also c
 ount towards the Commodores Cup awarded at the end of the year and the usu
 al Club Cups will be awarded at the end of year Dinner Dance for the winne
 rs of each regatta.
