DESCRIPTION:\n\nAs the racing season is now on hold due to the guidelines f
 or Covid 19 for a bit of fun we are going to move our racing online.  Our
  races are going to be held on the Virtual Regatta Inshore platform.  You
  can either play on a computer or download the app onto a mobile device. F
 ull joining instructions and race tips are on the RYA website here where y
 ou will find information about joining and gameplay tips.  As well as bei
 ng fun\, online racing is quite educational as it strictly follows the rul
 es of racing with all the correct laws being applied and penalties for any
  offences.  It's a risk free way of learning what can and can't be done.\
 n\nWe are starting with a series of races on the 11th April the Puffin Isl
 and Regatta and another series of races on the 25th April.\n\nThe races wi
 ll start at 11am.\nTo join the races\nOnce you have signed up with Virtual
  Regatta and completed the training click on the Custom Race Button on the
  11th and 25th of April.\n\nSelect ‘Join’ and enter your access code b
 y pressing the green box at the bottom. The access code has been sent to a
 ll Members by email.\n\nI’m looking forward to seeing you all in the rac
 e.  Once a few of us have signed up and friended each other we can have a
  practice and check how to use the system to decide on a winner.\nCommodor
 e's Cup\nThese races will also count towards the Commodores Cup awarded at
  the end of the year and the usual Club Cups will be awarded at the end of
  year Dinner Dance for the winners of each regatta.
